Follow Friday # 21

Hi everyone!! Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read!!

I hope everyone us having a great week!! Here is this Friday's question;

Q: What book would you love to see made into a movie or television show and do you have actors/actresses in mind to play the main character?

A: I would LOVE to see Anna and the French Kiss be made into a movie!! Or Shatter Me or Angelfire..haha and now that I think of it I would love to see Starcrossed as well be made into a movie!! I'm not really sure about actors/actresses that I would have in mind to play the main character..that's a hard question!!

I think the Harry Potter movies and The Vampire Diaries TV show are really great examples of books to screen..while the vampire diaries doesn't really follow the books it is still great to see a series stray from the books but still work out really well! I have been disappointed over the past few years by some of my favorite books becoming shows/movies and not being as great as what I read!

Anyways..I don't know about you guys but I am so excited to see the Hunger Games movie!! Also, Beautiful Creatures is being made into a movie as well which is very exciting :)

Well what do you think of my choices?? What book (or books) would you love to see made into a movie or television show?? Comment below and don't forget to follow :)

  1. If Anna actually came out, I would F-R-E-A-K. And why didn't I think of Shatter Me? Both such amazing books!

  8. Yes! I can't help being excited about Hunger Games. I don't know about movies, though... they don't always "help", if you know what I mean!! Colorimetry

  9. Old follower. Just stopping by to say hello.

    I would have to agree with Anna being turned into a movie. It would be soooo cute! Pretty much all books that have come out in the last 4 or 5 years have sold movie rights. Now if only they would hurry and make the movies! Like Beautiful Creatures.

  11. I haven't read any of the books that you suggested yet (Starcrossed and Anna and the French Kiss are on my TBR list) but I bet they would make good movies. I think this about a lot of books though.

  13. Yeah I've been disappointed with some movie adaptations as well. Blood and Chocolate for one. It's a pretty good movie on its own, but as a movie adaptation from the totally awesome book, it sucked. So I have to look at them separately! Love the Harry Potter films though!

    I would love to see Angelfire or Starcrossed on the screen as well! Great picks!

  15. I'm also excited to see The Hunger Games, even though I don't particularly watch movies that have come from books. Great choices! Anna & the French Kiss is a book I still need to read. Here's my FF New Follower :)

  16. Love your choices! I completely agree with you, I would love to see Angel Fire or Shatter me created into a series or film. Perhaps more a film than tv show.

  22. The Vampire Diaries is one of those book-to-screen adaptation where I actually enjoyed the TV version better than the books. I found the books to be pretty bland, so I was glad to see the show take a different approach.

    Hope you have a great weekend!
