Follow Friday # 19

Hi everyone!! Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read!!

I hope everyone is having an awesome week :)

So this Friday's question is..

Q: I like unique names for characters and am looking forward to coming up with some when I start writing. What's the most unique character name you've come across?

A: Well the first thing that comes to mind is Etienne from Anna and the French Kiss!! Before reading this book I had never heard of the name! Another unique name probably Hadley from the Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight..such a unique and pretty name :)
From one of my all time favorite classic books..I would have to go with Mr. Darcy! Even though it's his last name it still counts for being unique :). I would also have to go with Jay Gatsby..another unique name!!

Well what do you think of the names I picked? What are the most unique character names that you've come across? Comment below and leave me some links :)

Nice picks! Haven't read those. But Etienne is pretty unique! I like different, yet I do like to be able to pronounce the names in my head when I read! This one I do believe I've heard so I have it down!

For some reason I read Etienne and I think of snack food? There must be some old brand with a similar name!

Loved Etienne! I haven't read The Statistical Probability yet, but I have heard of Hadley before. Actually, my best friend is determined to name her first daughter that, after Homer Hadley Hickam author of Rocket Boys/October Sky. Great choices!

New follower.

I've never thought of mr. Darcy as unique, though it is. New follower! Sad to say, when I heard 'unique' I jumped to 'odd'. Oh, and: Imogen. I forget her last name.

As usual, I am still playing catch up on Saturday. Friday was only enough time to do the twitter and FB follow, and set up the linky on my blog. Sigh! I'm so slow.

Etienne is only unusual if you are not French. But it is a nice name. I finally chose a good name from my reading, but you'll have to visit me to find out what it is. http://steepedinbooks.blogspot.com I'm an old follower, just dropping by to say Happy Friday (and Saturday) follow.
