Hi everyone..Happy Friday!! Follow and Feature Friday is hosted by Alison Can Read and Parajunkee.

Hi Guys! I know it's been awhile but we are back to doing Feature and Follow Friday at Catching Books!! Yay! :)
With GFC going away please make sure to follow via RSS feed or bloglovin! Thanks everyone!!

Question of the Week: Resolutions; Put together your blogging resolutions list for all of us to see!

Answer:
1. Post more!!!!!
2. Comment!!!!
3. Read more books!
4. Make more blogger friends :)

Being a college student, I definitely find it hard to do all of the above things...with classes, schoolwork, friends, it is hard to find a balance with all of that and read a book! This year, my goal definitely is to read more books and post more reviews! Last year was a challenge but this year I plan on reading and posting as much as I can! I also want to comment on more of my favorite blogs! Lately I haven't been commenting which is something that I need to do again!

What are your resolutions??! Let us know in the comments! Can't wait to check out everyone's answers :)

Follow Friday # 51

Hi everyone..Happy Friday!! Follow and Feature Friday is hosted by Alison Can Read and Parajunkee.

Hi everyone!! I hope you all are having a great week! Sorry for the lack of commenting on everyone's blogs lately...I'm trying my best but school is crazy! I rarely have even enough time to read! This weekend hopefully I will be doing some catching up in the blogging world! If I don't end up commenting back on your blog I am SUPER sorry..I do follow every blog that comments so if you think I didn't check out your blog don't be mistaken! Thanks for all the support everyone :)
Anyways..here's this week's question!
Q: Happy Mardi Gras! If they were throwing the HOTTEST books off a Mardi Gras float, what you do to have them thrown at you?

A:  Hmmm..maybe I would try to get to the front of the line? I'm not really sure what I would do in this situation...I think it depends on the book! :D

What's your answer?! Let us know in the comments!

Q: What is the last book that kept you up late into the night just to finish it?

Anyways..here's this week's question!
Q: Who is your favorite villain from a book?
A: Hmmm..I'm never really thought of this one before but I think I'm going to have to pick Warner from Shatter Me. At first, I really really didn't like him..especially after seeing all of the horrible things that he has done (keep in mind we are just seeing things from Juliette's perspective). However, after reading Destroy Me and and seeing Warner's perspective, I definitely have come to like Warner. We really get to see how he became the character he is in the series and I think deep down he isn't all that bad. I hear things definitely change for Warner in Unravel Me so we shall see when the book comes out soon!!
Anyways..what are your thoughts? Who is your favorite villain?

Follow Friday #48

Hi everyone..Happy Friday!! Follow and Feature Friday is hosted by Alison Can Read and Parajunkee.

Hi everyone!! I hope you all are having a great week! It's nice being home on winter break..I have been catching up on a bunch of books that I haven't gotten the chance to read yet. Anyone do anything exciting this week? I registered for BEA this week and I am SO excited to be going again this year!

Anyways..here's this week's question!
Q: If you could choose one supernatural being/creature to really exists what would it be and why?

A: Hmm..this is a tough one! I think I would have to go with merpeople! Ever since I was little I loved reading stories about mermaids so I guess I would want my childhood fantasy to come true :)

What about you? What supernatural creature/being would you want to exist? Let us know in the comments!

Anyways..here's this week's question!

Q: What book do you think everyone should read, if you could gift the entire population with one book?

A: Hmm...tough question! I think I will have to pick Anna and The French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins. Literally I have read this book so many times and it never gets old! It's just a great contemporary romance with a fabulous plot and setting! If you haven't read it PLEASE READ IT!

Follow Friday # 45

Hi everyone..Happy Friday!! Follow and Feature Friday is hosted by Alison Can Read and Parajunkee.

Hi everyone! I hope you are all having an awesome week! I finally am back among the blogging world! School is really going great but I have been so busy with classes and meeting new people that it has been hard to find time to read! Now that things are more settled I (Sarah) should be back to posting more regularly :) The Catching Books Team (Me, Juliette, and Jaime) love all of your comments and thanks for continuing to follow us while we've been on a sort of break!

Anyways..on the with the question!

Q: What hyped up book do you think was not worth all the talk?

A: I heard Immortal City was going to be really really good but I just couldn't get into it. Maybe it works for some people but I just wasn't a huge fan of this book.

What are your thoughts? Let me know in the comments!

Hi everyone..Happy Friday!! Follow and Feature Friday is hosted by Alison Can Read and Parajunkee.

Hi everyone! I hope you are all having an awesome week! This week has been a little bit crazy for me..especially since I'm going to school soon! That being said, the Catching Books team will be doing our best to reply to comments but the next few weeks will be hectic! We will still be posting no worries..but we will try are hardest to reply to everyone's comments :)

Q: What blogger inspires you? It can be any kind, it doesn't have to be a book blog.

A: SO many bloggers inspire me! So I'm going to have to pick my top four....My first pick is going to be Alison at Alison Can Read! Her blog really inspired me to become a book blogger and I love reading her reviews! My second pick has to be Bakerella! While this isn't a book blog, I LOVE looking at her recipes and see all of the amazing food she makes! My third pick has to be Lalaine at FicBookReviews! I love reading all of her reviews and she is so helpful! My final pick would be Ella from Coco's Tea Party, which is a fashion blog! She always post really great clothing ideas that inspire me to figure out what I want my wardrobe to look like :)

Anyways..onto the question!

Q: What would you do over if you had to start your blog again from scratch?

A: Hmmm..haven't really thought of this question before! I'm really happy with how things are working out on Catching Books and I'm really happy to be blogging with two awesome co-bloggers! I guess I would like to update the layout of some of my posts..especially my stacking the shelves post! Maybe make it more organized?

Hi everyone! I hope you are having a great week! Anyone do anything fun? Has anyone been watching the Olympics?! I am so proud of the US gymnastics team..go fab five!! Swimming also has been great to watch :)

Okay..so here is this weeks question!

Q: Do your reading habits change based on your mood? Do you read a certain genre if you are feeling depressed or happy?

A:  Not really..my reading habits don't really change based on my mood. I will read contemporary romance books if I'm feeling down. Give me some Etienne St. Claire and I'm good to go :)

So..whats your answer this week? Leave me a message in the comments and let me know!

Hi everyone! I hope you all are having a fabulous week! Anyone do anything exciting this week?

Anyways..here's this week's question!

Q: Summer Reading. What was your favorite book that you were REQUIRED to read when you were in school?

A: Okay so I think I'm going to do this by year because I can't pick one :)

Ninth Grade: A Tale of Two Cities-still one of my all time favorite books EVER
Tenth Grade: The Great Gatsby-soooooo amazing. Whose excited to see the movie?!

Eleventh Grade: Macbeth-this has to be my favorite play written by Shakespeare! I'm also going to have to pick Pride and Prejudice..we read so many awesome books in eleventh grade!! Wait..one more 1984 also was a really really great read!
Twelfth Grade: Hmmm..we read Crime and Punishment this past year which was fine. Wasn't my favorite but it was interesting!

What's your favorite book that you were required to read? Let me know in the comments and leave me links :)

Anyways..here's this week's question:

Q: Christmas in July! Someone gives you a gift card for two books (whatever that costs). What two books will you buy?

Feature and Follow Friday # 39

Hi everyone..Happy Friday!! Follow and Feature Friday is hosted by Alison Can Read and Parajunkee.

I hope everyone is having an awesome week and happy belated fourth of July!!

So here's this Friday's question..

Q: What drove you to start book blogging in the first place?

A: My whole life I have loved to read..and I always recommend books to my friends and family. Last year I decided that I wanted to let others know about books that I am reading and share my reviews with you all! I love that I have made so many awesome friends who love to read too :) Being a book blogger truly is such a rewarding experience and I am SO glad that I started Catching Books!

Follow and Feature Friday # 38

Hi everyone..Happy Friday!! Follow and Feature Friday is hosted by Alison Can Read and Parajunkee.
I hope everyone is having an awesome week and happy belated fourth of July!!

So here's this Friday's question..

Q: Jumping Genres - Ever pick up a book from a genre you usually don't like and LOVE it? Tell us about it and why you picked it up in the first place.

A: For the longest time, I wasn't a fan of dystopian books (excluding the Hunger Games!!). I really just couldn't get into them and some of the ones I read really made me sad. My view on dystopian books totally changed when I picked up Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi! Oh man..literally one of my favorite books ever. The world that Tahereh Mafi creates is so captivating and I found myself really interested in the world that she created. I wasn't confused, and when I finished this book, I didn't find myself being depressed after but instead wanting to reread this book over again! After reading Shatter Me, I really have a much more open mind about dystopian books and I try to read more when I get the chance :)

So..whats your answer this week? Leave me a message in the comments and let me know!

Follow and Feature Friday # 37

Hi everyone..Happy Friday!! Follow Friday is hosted by Alison Can Read and Parajunkee!!

So here's this week's question..

Q: Birthday Wishes -- Blow out the candles and imagine what character could pop out of your cake, who is it and what book are they from?

A: Hmm...this is a tough one! So many awesome characters and I can only have one pop out of my cake. I think I'm going to go with Etienne St. Clair from Anna and The French Kiss! He is so swoon worthy..and every time I read about him I fall in love all over again. He is British, loves history, and is so sweet..my perfect type of guy! I haven't read this book in awhile but I really need to read it..I miss Etienne!

Sam Way (who is a British model) is how I imagine Etienne!

Follow and Feature Friday # 36

Hi everyone..Happy Friday!! Follow and Feature Friday is hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read.

Okay so here's this weeks question....

Q: If you could "unread" a book, which one would it be? Is it because you want to start over and experience it again for the first time? Or because it was THAT bad?

A: If I could "unread" a book it would definiately be the first Harry Potter book. When the first book came out, I was too little to read it on my own so my Dad read it to me every night. While that really was a great experience, I would love to be able to go back and experience the magic of reading the first (and actually second) Harry Potter books on my own!

So..whats your answer this week? Leave me a message in the comments and let me know!

Follow and Feature Friday # 35

Hi everyone..happy Friday!! Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read! Happy Early Father's day to all the Dads out there!!

So this Friday's question is..

Q: Who is the best father figure you have read in a book and why?

A: Oh man..this is a really hard question!! The first book that came to mind would be Albus Dumbledore from the Harry Potter series..he was a father figure to Harry right? Harry really looks up to him and values his advice and opinion so much. Without him, Harry wouldn't have been able to become the character we all know and love. Another father figure that came to mind is Arthur Weasley (also from Harry Potter). He always has some of the funniest lines in the book and he truly is a great father :)

Well..who is the best father figure you have read in a book?? What do you think of my choices?? I was feeling a Harry Potter theme this was as you can all tell :) Comment below and let me know what you think!
