Name: Epic Fail
Publisher: HarperTeen
Release Date: August 2nd, 2011
Will Elise’s love life be an epic win or an epic fail?
At Coral Tree Prep in Los Angeles, who your parents are can make or break you. Case in point:
As the son of Hollywood royalty, Derek Edwards is pretty much prince of the school—not that he deigns to acknowledge many of his loyal subjects.
As the daughter of the new principal, Elise Benton isn’t exactly on everyone’s must-sit-next-to-at-lunch list.
When Elise’s beautiful sister catches the eye of the prince’s best friend, Elise gets to spend a lot of time with Derek, making her the envy of every girl on campus. Except she refuses to fall for any of his rare smiles and instead warms up to his enemy, the surprisingly charming social outcast Webster Grant. But in this hilarious tale of fitting in and flirting, not all snubs are undeserved, not all celebrity brats are bratty, and pride and prejudice can get in the way of true love for only so long.-Goodreads
My Review:
What a fun book! Overall, I really enjoyed this book! It had some subtle references to Pride and Prejudice which I really enjoyed!
I really liked the plot of this book! At times it was very predictable but it was still enjoyable to read!
I also liked the relationship between Elise and Derek. Like I said before, there are many subtle references to Pride and Prejudice and I really liked how the author worked that in to their relationship.
Overall, this was a fun, quick read that I really enjoyed!
My Rating: Four out of Five Stars

I really love Pride and Prejudice so its so cool that this book has hints of that story in it. If Derek is anything like Mr. Darcy then I'm sold!

I'm really looking forward to this one! It sounds cute, and I don't think I'll be disappointed with any NON-references to P&P seeing as I've never read the book.

I've read a book by her I think called 'The Last Kiss'. That book was a sweet one, too. This sounds enjoyable. I have not read 'Pride & Prejudice'. I need to get on that. Thanks!
