Now an active member of the resistance, Lena has been transformed. The nascent rebellion that was under way in Pandemonium has ignited into an all-out revolution in Requiem, and Lena is at the center of the fight.
After rescuing Julian from a death sentence, Lena and her friends fled to the Wilds. But the Wilds are no longer a safe haven—pockets of rebellion have opened throughout the country, and the government cannot deny the existence of Invalids. Regulators now infiltrate the borderlands to stamp out the rebels, and as Lena navigates the increasingly dangerous terrain, her best friend, Hana, lives a safe, loveless life in Portland as the fiancée of the young mayor. Requiem is told from both Lena’s and Hana’s points of view. The two girls live side by side in a world that divides them until, at last, their stories converge.

My Thoughts:
I loved both Delirium and Pandemonium, and I cannot wait to read the final book in the series! I am interested to see how Lauren Oliver will write the book in the dual points of view of Lena and Hana, especially since Hana was not even in the previous book. Also, of course, I cannot wait to see what happens after the cliff hanger from the end of the last book, and what Lena will do!
What are you waiting for this week? Let me know in the comments!

I can't wait to read this one either!! Especially after that horrendous cliffhanger in Pandemonium. I haven't read the short story yet from Hana's POV, so I think I'll have to pick that one up before reading Requiem, to get an idea of Hana and her situation. And I'm excited to see how their stories even converge at the end. I'm also super curious to see who Lena ends up with- it better be Alex or I will NOT be pleased. ;)
ReplyDeleteFantabulous pick Sarah! <3
I still have yet to read Pandemonium! But at least this way when I finally do, I won't have to wait too long to finish up the series.
